About Us
Sustainable, Secure, Sanctuary
Welcome to Arvensis Acres, where the essence of our farm is embedded in its very name. Arvensis hails from Latin, signifying "of the field," and our journey begins with the earth beneath our feet. From our rich soil, we bring you pastured-raised poultry.
At Arvensis Acres, we aim to cultivate a holistic ecosystem, thus sustainable and regenerative farming practices are at the core of our operations. (Arvensis is also the genus for field bindweed, that pretty flowering vine threatening to take over the world - or at least our fields!) We've learned to work with all that nature gives us—the bounty, and the challenges.

Practices
We rotationally graze the chickens on fresh pasture, which fertilizes the grass and keeps it growing back thicker with each cycle (we never spray anything on the grass). This ensures our birds graze on the most nutrient-dense greens, enhancing the quality of their diet and thus their meat.
We source organic, non-GMO, soy-free feed from Scratch & Peck, which we then ferment to increase the nutritional value. You’ll taste the difference with these rich, fatty broilers. Join us on a journey that begins "of the field" and ends on your plate.
