Scott Richard is the founder and operator of Shoshone River Farm,  a 3.5-acre diversified vegetable farm located 8 miles north east of Cody, Wyoming, in its 17th year of providing produce to the Bighorn Basin, greater Wyoming, and Montana.

The farm is a bio-intensive farm adding 1000s of yards of compost, changing the native soils to be more productive. The primary focus is on creating an organism-friendly environment. 

Their preferred method of pest management is the release of predatory insects throughout the growing season rather than chemical intervention.
